Hello,

I'm wanting to be able to uses my laptop and communicate back to my
home computer via packet. I was wondering what software I need to do this. I
want be able to in my computer back home and get files off of my home
computer when I need them and put them on my laptop.

Short distance (hundreds of feet)?
Medium distance (dozens of miles)?
Long distance (hundreds of miles)?

There are some solutions for all of those cases.
They are very different ...
