Reading through what you wrote again - the concept of
"Jesus" is one hell of a big con trick. Religion is an escape route for the mentally questionable, and was completely routed in 1957 at the launch of the first Sputnik (by the Russkies, BTW, whom the Yanks having been trying to catch up with in technological advances for years) when no angels sitting on clouds nor anything else as described and claimed by the religionists was found above the blue sky. "Airy R. Bean" wrote in message ... Butch - you've the makings of being a _REAL_ Radio Ham. Well done there! "Butch" wrote in message ... Well Duh on me. My son and I did a father/son project some 25 years ago and all this time I thought I was a real radio ham. When I get to heaven perhaps Jesus will be my Elmer and help me become a real radio Ham. I sure love this hobby. I just hate that I'm sooo,....DUH! |

USENET goes back to Seventh Edition and UUCP all the way back to Sixth Edition. Not sure which "Notes" you mean, but I sure don't remember anything offering "competition" to USENET News. News continues today even through the extremely bad (and getting worse) S/N ratio. bill -- Bill Gunshannon | de-moc-ra-cy (di mok' ra see) n. Three wolves | and a sheep voting on what's for dinner. I think that if there is any trolling being done, it is being done by the rather infantile and silly escapee from the school playground who is being quoted below? Great, another top poster. |
