Any interest in CML Microcircuits cool ICs?

I recently got pointed to CML Microcircuits website (www.cmlmicro.com), and
was amazed to see so many narrowband wireless chips, many of which included
"amateur" as one of their applications.

The CMX882 part looks especially tasty since it not only had a 1200/2400
AFSK modem built in, it also had framing, CRC, and FORWARD ERROR CORRECTION
built in!

Another, slicker part (CMX7031) not only does that but is, in fact,
everything a VHF/UHF wireless modem is except for the RF/IF amps, RX/TX
switching, and mixing, with two identical, independent synthesizer PLLs.

I've requested two samples of the CMX882 part, and I'm hoping they'll take
me seriously. I can spend a day doing some uC coding and I'll get those
puppies RUNNING. I would love to test AFSK packet on a noisy channel with
interleaved FEC.
