qsling direct : how long ?
 

Hi,

I just received a QSL sent direct to BV (manager in BA) there are... 2 years
ago almost day for day !
NB. I sent it by airmail and received it by airmail as well.

Do you expeimented longer delay sending a QSL direct during the last 10-20
years ?

It's easy for it to take a long time. When I was cleaning out our
car to trade it in, I found a direct QSL request stuffed down the
back of one of the seats. And I found a couple more during an
office move earlier this year. On the positive side, I have sent
out 10-20 thousand handwritten cards more promptly than this :-)

Actually I find direct QSLing faster today than it ever has been. It is
quite possible that the person had lost the card and just now found it and
sent it out. Or perhaps they had been ill or had some other problem.
