RonaldĀ*PA3EWP informs DxCoffee readers: VP6EU - Pitcairn OC-044 "From 16 Februari 2017 until 5 March 2017 a European team consist of Uwe DJ9HX, Erno DK2AMM, Hans DL6JGN and Ronald PA3EWP will be active for 18 days from Pitcairn. They will operated from 10 meter - 160 meter in CW, SSB and RTTY. (no permission to operate on 60 meters). We will try to operate with 2 stations around the clock. The equipment will be 2* Elecraft K3, Expert 1.3 and a homemade 600 watt amplifier. The antennas will be a Spiderbeam or Hexbeam for 10-20 meter and verticals for the other bands. For 80/160 they will use a K9AY and/or beverage antennas. They stay on hilltop of the Island. QSL is via Erno DK2AMM.
