The celebration will be held at the Scottish Rites Temple, 817 S. Vassault St. in Tacoma, WA on Sunday, October 16th 2016 beginning at 2:00 PM. This event marks, to the day, the 100th anniversary of the founding of the club - one of the oldest continuously-running amateur radio clubs in the country. It was worth the wait. I spent a short while in a QSO with GB2FRS and a very pleasant local Scout in my town of Horsham. Just a reminder to keep a watch out for the JOTA operators, they really appreciate any contact. |
