Come join us in celebrating the 100th Anniversary of the founding of the
Radio Club of Tacoma, W7DK. The celebration will be held at the Scottish
Rites Temple, 817 S. Vassault St. in Tacoma, WA on Sunday, October 16th
2016 beginning at 2:00 PM. This event marks, to the day, the 100th
anniversary of the founding of the club - one of the oldest
continuously-running amateur radio clubs in the country.

JOTA Weekend 15th 16th October

In over 18 months of Ham Radio I heard my first CQ on the UK 2M Simplex
Calling Channel this afternoon!



It was worth the wait. I spent a short while in a QSO with GB2FRS and a
very pleasant local Scout in my town of Horsham.



Just a reminder to keep a watch out for the JOTA operators, they really
appreciate any contact.
