This weekend: WW PMC Contest and ARRL RTTY Roundup
 

On the new year';s first weekend, the mainÿcontests are the WW PMC fromÿSlovenia and the ARRL RTTY Roundup.

The contest';s goal is to promote contactsÿbetween PM cities and the rest of the world, but it is also a worldwide contest where anyone can work anyone. The time is 1200 UTC Saturday - 1200 UTC Sunday. The modes are CW andÿSSB in the HF bands between 80 and 10 meters. The ARRL RTTY Roundup will take place from Saturday, 1800 UTC to Sunday, 2400 UTC in the usual digital modes (Baudot RTTY, ASCII, AMTOR, PSK31, PSK63, Packet). Again in thisÿcontest anyone can work anyone. For details, seeÿhttp://www.arrl.org/rtty-roundup.
