Wayne has my respect; he is a vet of WWII- he was in submarines, and
those brave souls deserve all the respect they can get. I don't know the details, but I understand his underlings cleaned him out at least twice, leaving his company gutted and near death. Maybe this has happened again, and at 80+, he simply hasn't the ability to recover had when he was younger.
