What is with W6NEK HF Beacon Tracker?
Two days ago I downloaded the W6NEK HF Beacon Tracker software from his
website and paid for a registration via PayPal. I have not heard from him and can only operate in "DEMO" mode on 15M. Anyone know anything about this? Thanks. Joe W5WBR |

While you're waiting, you can download and run PropView for free; this
application will not only generate a live beacon schedule to your specifications, it will also generate graphical propagation forecasts using the IONCAP engine, which is included. If you run other components of the freeware DXLab Suite, you'll get additional functionality: - Commander will QSY your Icom, Kenwood, TenTec, Yaesu, Elecraft, or FlexRadio transceiver to the currently-active beacon's frequency - DXView will show you the location of the currently-active beacon on a world map (along with the solar terminator) and optionally rotate your beam; it will also let you do point-and-click propagation forecasts, or enter a callsign and get a forecast for that location PropView, Commander, DXView, and the rest of the freeware DXLab Suite are available via www.qsl.net/dxlab . 73, Dave, AA6YQ "Joe Watson" wrote in message news:ZGYIb.2569$zf.453@okepread05... Just wanted to set the record clear re my question about W6NEK.
I had not heard from him for several days. It turned out that he sent a reply which I never received. We finally got it all straight and I am very happy with W6NEK and with his beacon software.
