Holland On 990 AM
 

Hello group.
I live in the chicagoland area, and was picking up a Holland station
the other night at 990 on the AM band. I was able to receive it for
about 20 minutes before it faded. I didn't hear a call sign. I am
assuming it was being relayed from Canada? Does any one know?

Yes, I would strongly suspect it was CBC Radio 1 from Winnipeg.
(callsign is CBW but it's almost never used on the air) They relay
various overseas broadcasters overnight. IIRC you'll hear the CBC News
at the top of the hour.
