I was listening to the '247 DX Net late last week at approximately
1900Z-2000Z and he was in QSO with John, N0JT, in the pre-net banter.

Last time I talked with Alan was over 3 months ago and at that time his
health had stabilized after a stay in the hospital and he was planning a
cruise ship vacation.
