Motorola Regulator ic MC1466L

Help... does anyone know where I might obtain one (or better still, two) of
this linear ic's (it doesn't have to be Motorola of course, any manufacturer
would do), I have a super (but dead) PSU that desperately needs one... I'd
appreciate any procurement info...

It is always worth trying Motorola UK.

http://www.motorola.com/uk/

They may well send you a couple of samples for free but at worst will give a
you a list of distributors. A few phone calls will usually turn up one that
will take a cheque order or even give you samples.

(Works with other makers, Maxim are very good for samples, as are National.)
