FT-8900 Automobile Mount

I need some suggestions on mounting a Yaesu FT-8900 in my car, insofar as
being able to quickly remove the radio upon exiting, lest someone do this for
me during the night.

I have thought that the following might be good, but I can't seem to find a
supplie that has both components, actually I can't find one of the components
anywhere.

SDI 1050- 4 PIN SLIDE MOUNT I can find these online.

and the

SDI 550- FIXED ANGLE BASE 25 degrees or the

SDI 560- FIXED ANGLE BASE 50 degrees These last 2 I couldn't find a supplier
for on the web.

Anybody have any ideas about the constuction and feasibiliyt of the slide
mount and where I could purchase both items? 1 Slide and 1 Base

Actually, while researching this post, I finally found a site that offers the
slide mount and the base. I am open to suggestions on somewhere else to buy
this stuff, and if it will be OK to use a slide mount for VHF/UHF connections.
