Yaesu Ft920 power hooked up in reverse/reverse polarity
 

I sold my ft920 to my friend and he accidently hooked up the power cable in reverse.

Has anyone seen this, and if so, what kinds of problems can we expect to find?

Is ther a diode or fuse installed to accommodate this error?

Where would you expect to see the problems?

Most ham gear has a reverse polarity protection diode. This will usually pop
the fuse, but you will have to replace the diode, and perhaps repair board
traces.
