Seems to me that Ten-Tec is the leader. They "came out" with the Orion only to
have and 18 month delay before you could actually buy (not just order) one.
Then Kenwood followed suit and announced their new radio, only it will be
available at who knows when in the future. Then came Icom with their new
introduction at Hamvention this year. Depending on which rep you talked with,
it was priced at $5,000-$10,000. But it isn't "out just yet". Guess all we
have to do now is wait for Yaesu to introduce their latest HF rig this isn't
available yet. But Ten-Tec did lead the recent trend in introducing radios you
couldn't buy.
