Kenwood TH-78A Dual Band HT

I own a Kenwood TH-78A HT. It is about 8 years old and works fine. I am
having a hard time finding battery packs for the unit. HRO didn¹t have any.

Does anybody know a vendor that stocks the old style NiCd batteries (PB-13,
PB-14, PB-17 or PB-18) ??

Thanks,

John

You might also check www.batteriesamerica.com. They seems
to have both NiCd and NiMH.

Just make sure your charger can recharge NiMh batteries.

Most of the old nicd batteries have been replaced by the nimh. Look at this
site for some of the minh as a replacement.

Those packs are listed in a catalog I picked up from them at a hamfest this
weekend.
