10 Hz is well within the accuracy and stability specifications.

Stability is the key spec. How much does the radio drift in the first 1 hour of
warm up?

How do you know the 10 Hz value? How soon after power on is it measured? etc.!

Monte-

I don't know if this will help or not. I found an article in my
archives from last June, that gave an address for the manuals for both
the 725 and the 725A.

I have not tested the addresses to see if they work.

You will be hard pressed to beat 10 Hz, even if the rig has a TCXO. If
you have the capability of measuring it, all you need to do is find the
adjustment, let the rig warm up a couple of hours, and adjust it. Let
the adjustment stabilize a while and check again. Ceramic trimmer
capacitors seem to drift slightly immediately after adjustment.
