LDG AT-11MP Auto ATU kit

Has anyone built an LDG AT-11MP Auto Tuner kit and managed to
setup/calibrate the meters correctly with out any special gear to do this?

I am thinking of buying one in kit form but I can't find the instruction
manual for it on the web. I need a manual to help me to decide whether to
buy the kit or a ready made one if the kit is too hard to build and
calibrate.

Can anyone help with this?

Many thanks

Andy

It's on their website at www.ldgelectronics.com

I just check there to make sure. Click on the AT-11MP, click on
specifications and you will find it under additional information.

Thanks

Andy

Andy, what could be possibly better than the Manual with assembly
instructions? That is what I directed you to.

Try this:

http://www.ldgelectronics.com/MP_Asm_Manual23.pdf

It doesn't get any bette than that ;-)

Wow, now I see what you mean. I just looked at my own link and was
surprised to see that their manual no longer includes the construction
instructions. I have owned 3 or 4 AT-11MP's and every one of them came with
a manual with construction instructions.

I would contact Dwayne at LDG and ask him if he can send you the
construction info as an attachment or something. They are great people!

I built mine. The only tedious part is winding the toroid coils. I think they are available
pre-wound. The assembly instructions are clear and the board is easy to stuff and solder.
Calibration only involves a few watts from a transmitter and a Digital Voltmeter. If you have done
any electronic assembly before, you should have no problems. I noticed that the difference in price
between kit and assembled is only about $40. You don't save that much. I just like to do my own
assembly.
