Hi Harold,
I just bought 3 sets of these at a hamfest at a hamfest 2 weeks ago near
Saratoga, NY. Both ends are threaded so you can screw any of the tips in
either end of the leads. For instance, I screw the banana plugs in the one
end to fit my meter and the alligator clips or pointed probes in the other
end to best suit the connector that I am trying to meter. The kit even
comes with spade type adapters to fit under a screw terminal for a secure
connection that won't fall off. They are really nice test leads. I got them
at a bargain price so I bought 3 sets as I seem to have a habit of
misplacing things.
