TS-570D - Need Help connecting to Amp.

Help - Trying to connect Ameritron AL-572 Linear Amp to TS-570D. Amp
requires Shielded audio type cable with a standard male phone plug
connected to the "Relay Jack" on rear of amp.
Question is which pins do I connect audio cable to in the "Control
Relay" plug on the TS-570D???
Thanks in advance.

Bill, you should check your owners manual.

Be sure to turn on the "amp control relay", it is located in the menu
setup - item #39 on page #18 of the manual.

Use RG-178 coax. Check page #81 for the pin connections.

Mine work perfect.

Let me make this much easier. I pulled my plug and checked the
connection just for you.

Solder the center conductor of the coax to pin #5
Solder the ground of the coax to pin #2
Put the cover back on the connector, plug it in and your on the air.
