Icom 725 "click" on CW

Icom 725 "click" on CW

My 725 has developed a clicking sound everytime I key up on CW...in other
words its not sending clean dots and dashes, there is always a click right
at the begining of a dot or dash. Its not a chirp and if I were to hold the
key down for a few seconds the signal is clean after the initial "clicking"
Any help appreciated...thanks...gil
