My club, the Roseland (NJ) ARC, has the original Yaesu FT-1000 as our
HF station. Recently, the autotuner will not find a satisfactory SWR,
and a suggestion was made to perform a reset. We do not have the
technical manual for this rig, so if anyone identify the keys to hold
on power-up to do a reset, it would be appreciated.

Hi Dick,
Have you tried looking for manuals on http://mods.dk? You may find what you
need there.

The link for the manual is for the FT1000MP , Dick wants a servicedoc of the
original FT1000 which is produced till 1995/96.(The best of the best)
Look at : http://foxtango.org/foxtango001.htm , you can join this club for

When you joined them , you can get a password to acces their downloadsection

Processor reset: hold SUB and ENT then hit the power switch. That
will also clear all memories.
