With 18 months of idle time, the chances are greater that it has
died from unuse. This advice was given to me from KF6BQF, who has been fixing electronics for over 30 years. John John, don't believe everything you hear especially from a newbie, today's electronics have a long shelf life. You can quote me as well, KF6HHS, been fixing electronics for 50 years. Regards, Hugh Retired, now life moves at my pace. please note spam filter |

Hardly. I'm a newbie, and I've had the same experiences as him with supposedly modern electronics. It sits, it dies. Simple as that. If you haven't experienced death by coma electronics, you've been damn lucky and you should thank your stars for that. John |
