I've never owned an SX-110, Chris, so can't give youi mucch of an
opinion. You might want to post this on rec.antiques.radio+phono in
addition. There are people there who could give you mucho information.

I've never owned an SX-110, Chris, so can't give youi mucch of an
opinion. You might want to post this on rec.antiques.radio+phono in
addition. There are people there who could give you mucho information.

SX-110 is a good receiver. However its design, (1950s) is somewhat lacking
by todays standars.

For a general coverage AM shortwave receiver, it will do the trick. For
general AM and maybe CW work it will do.

I have one and I much prefere the SX-111, 101a, 115 etc for ham band
usage.
