Yaesu FT 857 Mic Adapter
 

Has anyone used an 8 pin mic on the Yaesu FT857 in place of the
standard stock microphone. Obviously you have to get around the RJ45
by doing this. Are there adapters available, or do you pretty much
have to hack off the connector on another microphone to do this?
