FA: MFJ-974 Balanced Line Tuner

http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll...MESE:IT&ih=010

Continuous 3.5-30 MHz, good for Amateur bands and serious SWL.

Rated 300 watts PEP, 150 watts CW, built-in Cross-Needle SWR/Power meter
with 0-30 and 0-300 watt scales, measuring Average and Peak Power.

This tuner uses a T-network that is advertised to match 20-2000 ohm
loads. Designed for Balanced Lines, it can also be configured for Coax
lines and random long wires.

It might not "load the bedsprings," but should make your Xcvr happy in
most other situations.

A decent 'TRUE' balanced line tuner. I own one and have it dedicated to my
IC-746 with a balanced feedline to a CF Doublet.

Not interested in buying this one, just posting an endorsement.

I'll second that endoresement - I, too have been using the MFJ-974H to
feed my W7FG 80M Dipole with ladder line and it has been the best over-all
antenna system I've had in decades.
