I'm not aware of any Wi-Fi radios that also have AM, but Wi-Fi radio
that also have FM have been a bit of a rarity up to now anyway.

Have you checked whether the AM station you want to listen to has an
Internet stream?

Someone has a US patent on the combining of regular radio stations and what is
now called Internet Radio.

Either the manufacturers licensed the patent, worked around it, or ignored it
(decided not to sell their unit in the U.S.).

Check CCrane, they have several wi/fi radios on their website for
sale.
