I can e-mail to anyone interested photographs supporting my claim.

* letter of induction to the FBI, showing the job title of Radio Operator,
signed by J. Edgar Hoover.
* letter of assignment to the Newark NJ field office in 1957 signed by
Hoover.
* picture of the retired FBI credentials dated from 1957 to 1994, which
shows the job title of Communications Specialist.

Other than that, there's no documentation. What do you expect? No one knew
at the time of historical significance of the key.

If you knew my relative, you would not accuse him of being a thief. He was
a dedicated public servant. Decorated in the Air Force. Letters of
Commendation from every FBI director, from Hoover to Webster. Letters of
thanks from every SAC he served under. He was in the forefront in the FBI's
fight against Communism, organized crime, and terrorism.

He was so honest, he refused to sneak food into movie theaters.

If you had said that to my face, you'd have woken up in County Emergency.

If you'd commit battery on someone for exercising their

I hereby apologize if it was his own key .... but wouldn't you ask the same

own minds when they saw your information. I was in Budapest this summer and
at the square where a lot of history "went down" It was really a strange
feeling to me being there akin to being a Gettysburg.

Close enough to absolute. The Supreme Court has not upheld a
conviction based on "fighting words" since 1942. You lose.

An outcome determined by lawbreakers in no way makes the

condone such behavior by the residents of Compton or, more
pertinently, by you, even in defense of his own probity.

The original owner, if he is still alive, can provide an affidavit.
If he is not alive, others who have direct knowledge of the
situation could provide such an affidavit. The provenence of
historical items is often handled this way. I would not buy
it without such an affidavit ...

Sure has been fun watching folks jump to amusing conclusions.

How in the world would the seller substantiate these claims?
Sounds like a rip-off to me.

I can e-mail to anyone interested photographs supporting my claim.
* letter of induction to the FBI, showing the job title of Radio
Operator, signed by J. Edgar Hoover.
* letter of assignment to the Newark NJ field office in 1957 signed
by Hoover.
* picture of the retired FBI credentials dated from 1957 to 1994,
which shows the job title of Communications Specialist.

You just answered my question. Personally, I'd probably take the above
documents as sufficient evidence. Thanks.

don't forget to mention Tom Paine and also Sra. Montisorri.

Thanks for the subltle references; However my legal position
remains correct.

Your position was a legal one?
You are a lawyer?

Also please stay off the air until you have learned the difference.

At your behest??? And who made you the arbiter of who is
allowed to speak? The guy who puts people in the hospital for
impugning the family honor? Nice try.

I have the same "right" to speak my mind as you do.

Clearly you must be a lawyer, or at least pretend to be, otherwise
you would not have put that "allowed" in there. I didn't say anything
about what you are "allowed" to do or not.

When you fix that education problem,
add a course in reading comprehension.

Focus on "freedom" vs. "license" and "demand" vs. "request".

If you'd commit battery on someone for exercising their
freedom of speech, you apparently learned nothing from your
scrupulously honest relative. I'm sure he'd be ashamed to have such a
brigand in the family.

I see that you are an uneducated dolt

Far from uneducated.

who cannot tell the
difference between "freedom" and "license". I suggest you
investigate that difference. When you report your results to us,
don't forget to mention Tom Paine and also Sra. Montisorri.

I don't have to be a lawyer to understand (or state) that
battery in defense of a third party's honor in retaliation for
first-amendment-protected speech is illegal. It makes you a felon.

Also please stay off the air until you have learned the difference.

Clearly you're attempting to put words in my mouth.
Meaningless ones at that.

Focus on anything you like -- I don't need either your
permission to speak or your childish attempt at directing my
education. All you are accomplishing is reinforcing the impression
that you find a felony to be acceptable behavior when faced with a
perceived slight.
