Default Age of my FT-1000D?

I recently picked up a '1000D and am interested in its age. I know this rig
was manufactured for about a decade. The S/N is "2E220171". Anyone with a
'1000D that might have some insight?

Thanks.

example:

Serial No: 7 N 250 078

The 7 is year the radio was actually made = 1997
The N is month made starting with January as C, = December
The 250 is batch number = Batch 25
The 078 is serial number in that batch = 78

It's a lot 22 built in 1992. Give you a perspective I bought a new 1000
in Jan of 93 and it was SN 2E220166, I still have the original invoice.

Then in Jan of 2000 I bought yet another new FT1000 the SN of that was
8K55xxxx, so that one was built in 1998 and it was a lot 55 one of the
last FT1000's and a good radio, improved over my first. I still have
the original invoice from TT.
