Have a new FT-60R and despite repeated readings of the manual, I am stumped
on a few issues.
First, Programmable ( Band Limit) Memory Scan. On page 40, item 2 in the
manual it talks about storing the upper and lower limit of the scan you want
to program. It says using the methods learned earlier (?) store the lower
freq in L01 and the upper in U01. I cannot figure out how to get to L01 and
U01 to store these limits.

Can anyone help?

Thanks and 73

I have no idea, but obviously there is something explained earlier in
the manual about storing frequencies. So if the unit has some memories
for certain frequencies, find that section and read it.

I'd assume you have to tune to the desired frequency, and then press
a button to store it.

Don't know that particular model but the typical routine is to select the
channel position in memory mode, then change to VFO mode and enter in the
frequency, then Func+mem, mem(or select memory position and hit mem). There
are variations of this with menu structures.

I prefer to use the software with large frequency lists.

Go to page 27-29 go to memory mode and enter 1001 F/W. Then go to VFO mode
and enter in your lower frequency limit then press F/W for 1 second and you
should see the flashing number. Use the channel knob to make sure you are
on the one you want and press F/W again. Pretty much the same as I stated
above, but they are using different keys. It looks like the L and U
positions are at the start of each bank below channel 1, 11, etc.
