Yaesu FT-100 PTT Problems.
Has anyone else experienced PTT problems with their FT-100?
When I key the radio TX Light will flicker and the radio transmits a burst of noise. When it first started I though it was the Microphone, so I tried the Microphone from my FT-8100 and it worked fine so I ordered a replacement Microphone. Now none of the Microphone work on the FT-100 but they all work on the FT-8100. I also have a Heil Headset with Yaesu Adaptor and it works fine on all radios. I would really like to get the DTMF Hand mike running since I need Tones to control remote radios. Any Suggestions? Ron N5HYH |
It sounds like you don't have enought current for the Tx mode. Are you using
a small power supply (less than 20 Amps)? Pete Ron wrote in message om... Has anyone else experienced PTT problems with their FT-100?
