Difference between 6DQ6A and 6DQ6B?

What's the difference between a 6DQ6A and a 6DQ6B?
My tube manual is an older book that lists only the
"A" version. Can I use a "B" version in a DX-20
without changing any of the rig's component values?

YES You should be able to use it with no problems -

My RCA RC-21 Manual lists both. B series is a bit better tube but you
probably won't notice any difference (power output wise) until you get to 15
or 10 meters. Even then it's probably marginal.

It has slightly higher operating values compared to the "A" so I guess you
can call the "B" version a ruggedized 6DQ6A.

Would pay some attention to Neutralization as "B" model would have a greater
tendency to oscillate due to higher transconductance.

Happy to scan the tube manual for you if you need it.
