I have the opportunity to acquire a Motorola MTR 2000 PA, looks like it will
cover 70 cms okay, as this unit does not come cheaply I would appreciate any
feed back.

Does anyone have any information regarding programming for Ham Bands, I
realize I would need programming software (not being included with the
repeater) and a cable. I think I could make a cable. Would the programming
software be easily available?

Any help or pointers would be appreciated.
