kenwood ts450 and yamaha cm500
 

Anyone using this combination? The headphone works fine, but I have some
difficulties using the microphone. I've used an 8 kOhm resistor for the
bias, and as soon as a noise or my voice triggers VOX, it won't release
it. Since accessing vox/antivox pots in the ts450 is a pain (who the
hell thought of putting them on the underside of the radio, seriously?),
I'd like to know if someone is happily using the microphone before I
dismount half the shack to be able to get at the pots.
