No...it wouldn't be!...but maybe it would raise the "standard" of our beloved Hobby's National Convention. Should't we hold our premier Convention in a venue more fitting....?? Aren't we tired of Hara...and the rain...and the lousy accomodations....and long lines for the Johns....etc... Just a thought!.... 73.... No...it wouldn't be!...but maybe it would raise the "standard" of our beloved Hobby's National Convention. Should't we hold our premier Convention in a venue more fitting....?? To be honest, I've never gone to Dayton, so I'm speaking more generally. I've found that when you take a successful homegrown event like this and try to 'improve' it, oftentimes the charm is reduced. Pacificon has apparently grown to nearly-national level stature, and moving from the Bay Area would likely make it something else entirely. Just a thought too :-) 73 Dana |
