TECH: Shack Master

Hello all!

I'm trying to diagnose an issue on an old ACC Shack Master SM100.

Overall the device is working fairly well but the secondary transmitter
stage in the SM will not activate for the COS. I've tried other radios and
all have the same symptom. Cross band repeat does not activate from Primary
RX to Secondary TX. I can force the issue with the COS bypass codes as if I
were accessing the SM from the telephone but even after swapping radios, and
confirming the High/low state in the controller programming, this feature
just will not activate without the *.

Any tips would be greatly appreciated!

TIA!

Another odd development, when I transfer control to secondary from the
primary, a signal to the primary is sent to the secondary! but it;s the
secondary that no longer links to the primary for TX.

So.. Primary in control, SRX to PTX but PRX does not STX.

Secondary in control, PRX will STX but SRX will not PTX

If I use the key to manually TX using * on either, it will TX until I hit #.
So bypassing the COS on either side will make it work manually.
