IC-756PRO II or FT-1000MP MK V ?
 

I searched for various spellings groupings of these characters ...
mainly all old posts referring to the IC-756PRO, but no comparison to
the PRO II, and all posts came about around the time of release of
both radios. Unfortunately, there's no real good poop on either now
that you've all had time to really play with them both very much.
Thoughts about going one way or the other? 200W on the Yaesu is nice,
but, I've got several Icom's I'm rather happy with. I'm interested in
all your thoughts...

Also, any rumors about new replacements to this class of xcvrs? I'm
not talking about the presumably unaffordable IC-7800 series. Thanks
