SOTA 1296 Linear Transverter ?
 

Does anyone have any information on the SOTA 1296 Linear Transverter.

Specifications, connections, circuit diagram or a manual would all be
useful.

In particular the unit has a 5 pin DIN socket, for control, which
appears to have slightly unusual connections.

It's been many, many moons since we last met at one of the inaugral
CATS meetings back in my SWL days!

Anyhow, I recently sold one of those old SOTA 23cms transverters, but I
still have some documentation.

The DIN socket is wired as follows:-

1 +13.8Vdc power in
2 Ground
3 PTT (active low) in
4 Switched +12Vdc TX out
5 Switched +12Vdc RX out

Standard DIN pin numbering (clockwise from 9 o'clock) 1,4,2,5,3
The TX IF in is maximum 500mW and RF out is approx 500mW also.
