I like the Yaesu equipment, but don't like the yahoo signup
crapola.

I'll have to pass on this invitation unless you can find a
hosting site for it that doesn't require all the personal
information to participate.

Except for my e-mail address I fed 'em completely bogus info and their
signup robot swallowed it hook, line and sinker. Any spam tossed my
way as a result of signing up is "handled" by my spam filters.

Similar approach here; I use a 'disposable' Yahoo account for their
groups and for use in the newsgroups and mung the personal
information. Works fine for me.
