Andy,
Try a CB repair shop. Any shop that does repair work will typically have a "boneyard" of dead radios in their back room or storage shed. A good bet would be a shop located at a truck stop on the interstate. When a trucker's CB quits, they usually just buy a new one and abandon the old one at the shop. Sometimes the dealers repair and re-sell them, but often they just toss 'em on the pile. 73, Dean K5DH In article , SHORECOGSatCOMCASTDOTNET says... Hello. I need a couple of components for a Realistic TRC-458. I checked with Radio Shack and the parts are no longer available. Can anyone suggest a source for these parts: Item D401 (LED), Part #L-0776, Channel Display (TLR321) Item PL401 (Lamp), Part #L-0786, S/RF Meter (11.73v @ 43mA) -- 73! de Andy KC2SSB http://shorecogs.tripod.com AIM: shorecogs |
