Looking for a schematic and parts placement diagram for the control head.
The 440 volume & squelch pots have broken the traces on the main board at the connector. Can anyone help?? Please respond direct. Thanks, Jim, WA1GPO |
HI, I'll get back to you later, late for work.
Man, it took me 4 hours to repair mine. VERY tiny work. TINY soldering iron needed, and a LARGE magnifying glass and a steady hand. Also, you will need some wire wrap wire, very thin. VERY BAD design on Yaesu's part. SHAME ON THEM!!!!! I'm using mine as a base and not mobile. Not sure if I can trust it in a bouncing car. Works fine as a base. 73 "J.
