icom2200h power problems

Hi, am total newby. Have an icom 2200h that I cant seem to get powered up.
Is there an internal fuse or something else I am missing here. Thanks

Cheap ebay freq counter (VC3165) fix

I picked up one of these freq counters from ebay, and the first thing I
discovered was that all of the writing on the face is in Chinese (it was in
English in the auction). Just a heads up if you buy one... not big deal,
you can place labels over the Chinese but its definitely not what is shown
in the photo.



Second discovery, plugging it in caused my entire WALL to hum at 60hz!



I split it apart to have a look and saw that the three prong receptacle is
not grounded. The case is plastic...
