Kenwood TS-570s no audio or transmit

New to Ham radio. I was given a TS-570s by the local ARC. It belonged to a
silent key that wanted it to go to a new Ham. Unfortunately the radio got
wet during hurricane harvey. When I received the rig it had been
disassembled and was thoroughly dried out. my Elmer has the same radio and
we powered it up in his shack and performed a reset. Rig will go through
all bands and menu options. display works fine. meter shows RX but no audio
can be heard and no transmit output when mic is keyed. I...
