On ebay can I find a cheap replacement of the DC Adapter for VX-2R:

I wouldn't. I bought a RS adapter that was the right voltage
and amperage rated. It toasted the VX-2R. Yaesu, in a display
of infinite mercy, still repaired it under warranty.
