need explanations with 2-way radios please (Canada)

Hi
I'm in the market for a pair of 2 way radios. I did a lot of reading, but it
getting complicated
I have a few questions please:
remember please I'm Canadian.

1- does one needs a license for using a FRS only radio?
2- since I'm in Canada, would buying a GRMS capable radio make sense?
3- if it makes sense ( GRMS), what is the benefit over regular FRS
4-do one needs a license for GRMS radios?
5-what happen if you don't have a license for your radio?
6-is there a good website on the net that explains all this for newbies, and
I'm also looking for reviews? what are the good one to buy?

TIA
stef,Montreal.
