you knew that though, just get two rigs, an HT for
aircraft transmit and an IC 2100H will do the rest

Yaesu have a new HT that covers Aircraft in AM (TX and RX) and 2m FM, TX and
RX, and without knowing more about it, just might open up to Marine FM. It
was announced as being designed for Flying Hams.
