increasing sensibility on IC-28A/H

Hi guys,

I observed that my IC-28H rig is a little def.

How can I increase the sensibility of my Icom IC-28H?

Are there any adjustment to do this or It only can be done using an
external preamp?

I have a 28H sitting right here beside me. Been using it since it was
purchased new, and I find the sensitivity to be excellent. It is not
adjustable. You might want to look at the RF amplifier, Q4. It might
have been blown by static or being too close to RF. The service
manual is available here. http://www.mods.dk/
