Yaesu 1000SDX opinion

I see that the Yaesu 1000SDX rotor doesn't get a very good review on
eHam.net (20 reviews result in 3.5/5) but I thought I'd run my own poll
here. Newsnet always elicits all sorts of opinions (usually without
asking, though).

I'm thinking about buying one of these but the 7 out of 20 poor reviews
at eHam have me concerned.
