SWR-Wattmeter and Antenna Tuner Combo for QRP?
Hello. I am a recently licensed ham who is finishing off my first
rig, a tentec 1315 QRP monobander. I plan on feeding it to a dipole about 20 feet up. I have been looking for a Wattmeter/SWR Meter that can read SWR with low output (3-5 Watts), and for a Tuner that can be passed into and out of the feedline with an internal bypass switch. I would prefer a meter and tuner that can also be configured for 100 Watt output, but that is not a necessity. I've noticed some meters give a minimum power output for usable SWR reading, and often it is well above QRP power levels. So, I guess I am looking for a meter that can read SWR accurately at QRP levels, and a tuner with an internal bypass [pass-through] switch. Thank you for your input.
