Kenwood TS-950 serial numbers
 

Is there any way to determine the approximate date of manufacture from the
serial number
of a Kenwood TS-950SDX. I've seen serial numbers starting with 70(million)
and 80 but I've also seen serial numbers starting with 00. Can anybody help
with dates?
